On Sunday, October 20th, the Brolic Beats crew will be participating in the American Cancer Society: Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Parsippany, NJ. Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in the United States, other than skin cancer. It is the second leading cause of cancer death in women, after lung cancer. The chance of a woman having invasive breast cancer some time during her life is about 1 in 8.
Over the past 20 years, the American Cancer Society has helped more than 4 million women get potentially lifesaving breast cancer screening tests. With your help, we can make that number grow even more. Please consider making a donation to this worthy foundation and know that you will be saving the lives of many. Remember, no donation is too small, even $1 would contribute greatly.

“For April I was going to use my live set from the St. Joe’s University Dayglow party that I played Thursday, but there was a bunch of technical difficulties & long story short — the recording got extremely distorted. I went through my folders i made for that show (plus 1/2 songs that were released this week) & put together this mix instead. I hopped around a few genres, threw in some new stuff, funky stuff, stuff you have heard before, and stuff you haven’t heard before. I cut out 1/2 songs in this mix that I actually played during my set because they were overplayed songs that i basically only played because it was a college crowd. Regardless of the difficulties, SJU was DOPE. Send it to your friends, dance to it, drink to it, study to it, listen to it with your mom, whatever.” – Scott Vernet
