Those of you who watch “The Voice” may recognise a name, Collin McLoughlin, from last season. If you’re not familiar with him, he’s also garnered plenty of attention recently on YouTube. This year he’s made an ambitious stride into the dubstep scene with Tears of Tempo. This EP represents a year-and-a-half of hard work consisting of sleepless nights and long hours in his NYC apartment. Of note is the first track of this EP titled “Chasing Ghosts,” which is more melodic dubstep than anything else. While we’re not expecting this track to tear up dance floors, we emphatically praise its powerful and dramatic drop accompanied by some well-curated vocals.
